SHELLEY ANN TRIMBLE
Date of Passing: May 07, 2012
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHELLEY ANN TRIMBLE October 30, 1977 - May 7, 2012 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved daughter, sister and auntie, Shelley Ann on Monday, May 7, 2012. Left to cherish her memory is her mom and dad Margo and John; brother Jim (Joan); niece and nephews whom she loved and adored so fondly, Sonya Ann, Connor and Luke. Shelley was born in Montreal and raised in Winnipeg and graduated from John Taylor in 1995. Throughout her school years she enjoyed band, drama, and figure skating with St. James Icettes precision team. She was also an avid sports fan over the years. Upon graduation, Shelley attended the University of Winnipeg Arts Program until her decision to join friends in Calgary. After three years away, Shelley returned home to continue her education taking business administration and marketing at Red River Community College. Upon completion she secured employment with Enterprise Rent a Car until her illness in 2004. In the later part of her illness, she very much enjoyed volunteering for Ronald McDonald House, and we thank the staff for giving Shelley the opportunity to help others. Throughout her eight year, up and down struggles with brain tumor cancer, Shelley remained strong, courageous and maintained a positive attitude. She was a breath of fresh air and a ray of sunshine to those around her. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 15 at 1:00 p.m. in Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Blvd. with Rev. Michael Wilson officiating. Our heartfelt thank you to family and friends for their love and support, and also our gratitude to Shelley's wonderful friends for always being there for her. Thank you to Dr. Martin and the staff at Palliative Care and Riverview Health Centre for Shelley's care. Should friends so desire, donations in Shelley's memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 566 Bannatyne Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 0GT or Children's Wish Foundation, The Manitoba Chapter, 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J2. I enjoyed many, many early mornings with you singing in Project and school choirs throughout jr high and then later on in high school. The thing that sticks out in my mind the most was our trip to Banff in high school. We seemed to have spent a fair bit of time together on that trip amongst other friends, but I'll always remember a special lunch just the two of us had together one of our first days there. We just sat and talked and laughed REALLY hard! You were so much fun! Shelley, you will always be remembered and loved by so many! Thanks for beautiful memories! To Shelley's family ~ we have and will continue to pray for all of you during this incredibly hard time. Love you Shelley! - Posted by: Marcie (Hull) Quark (School friend) on: May 15, 2012

Shelley, I'll always remember your distinctive voice, your infectious laugh and your incredible sense of humour. I remember you coming to Karen and I's apartment for Wednesday nights for spaghetti and meatballs and garlic cheese toast while we barely watched Party of Five and 90210 - we were too busy talking and laughing. Those were golden times and I'm sorry we didn't keep in touch, though I often asked Beckie how you were doing. To your family and friends, I offer my sincere condolences - Shelley touched so many lives and will always be missed, remembered and loved. - Posted by: Tara Robinson (Friend) on: May 10, 2012

Margot and family you have my deepest sympathies. She was a strong young lady. Although I did not know her, we at the NorthWest watched you struggle with her illness for some time and you always held your head high and had a smile. She was a beautiful girl even tho I met her for a brief moment at work. Sending hugs and warm thoughts to you this sad day. - Posted by: Tammy Kittle (friend) on: May 10, 2012
