TOTONNO VIOLA It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our father Totonno Viola on April 25, 2012 in San Mango D'Aquino, Catanzaro, Italy, at the age of 91 years. Totonno Viola was born in San Mango D'Aquino on May 29, 1921. He was predeceased by his wife Maria Perri Viola. Totonno leaves behind his brother Adolfo Viola in Ottawa; his children Francesca (Mario Magnone), Anna (Salvatore Rapisarda), Elena (Luigi Colosimo) all of Winnipeg and Vincenzo (Vincenza) in Italy. He was also blessed with the love of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Our father was a loving, kind, generous, thoughtful, grateful, fair, wise and most of all wonderful father. Thank you Dad for giving us strong family roots, honourable values and wings to fly. You have always shown us what it means to love one's children unconditionally and that family is everything. You always made us proud and we all love you for it. Our families would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our brother Vincenzo, his wife Vincenza and their children, Maria and Antonio for their loving, gentle care that was given to our dad in the last few months of his journey in San Mango D'Aquino, Italy. A special mass service will take place on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue, Winnipeg. Though his smile is gone forever, and his hand we cannot touch. Still we have so many memories, of the one we love so much. His memory is our keepsake, from which we will never part. God has him in His keeping and we have him in our hearts. Rest in peace Dad, we will miss you very much.
