Condolences & Memories (10 entries)

  • To Gloria & Jerry. I've just now heard the heartbreaking news of the tragic passing of your son David. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I am at a loss for words! I cannot imagine what you and Jerry are going through, how could I. But no matter what, you WILL get through this. I remember (with fond memories) the few times that I had met and spoken at length with David. He was so full of living, cared for his fellow man and was a wonderful human being. He was simply taken far too soon. He will be missed by many. Time is a great healer. Knowing you both, I know you are both very strong people, and your strength and devotion to each other will help guide you through. David is with his maker and is not in pain. He will be waiting for you in the light. Please let me know if there is anything Mary and I could do to give you the strength to get through this terrible time, please call on me. Sometimes, just someone to talk to may help a bit to lessen your suffering. I share your grief and send love to you both. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Your friend. with Love, Reg "Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow." - Posted by: Reg Bartlette (Friend!!) on: Jun 20, 2012

  • David will certainly be sadly missed. If you were to look up the word "Positive" in the Dictionary, you would see David's picture. His innate ability to see structure in apparent disorder, and his insatiable passion for acquiring knowledge of the inner workings of the world will be remembered. - Posted by: Efrem Hoffman (Collaborated with and Mentored David in Winnipeg and Austin, Texas, in association with a World-Clas) on: Jun 15, 2012

  • It was so sad to hear of the passing of David. I will always forever remember the kind spirited man that was always my "big brother" growing up in River Heights. He was there to cool off his mom when I accidentally cut more branches on their tree in front of the house. But mostly David was my golf partner on my first round of golf and was so excited of my score even if it was in the 100's. May angels always be with you my friend. - Posted by: Robert K (Neighbor/Grew up in River Heights ) on: May 22, 2012

  • Dear Gloria and Jerry: I am in absolute shock. I have been away for a while but I remember David as a beautiful baby growing up to a beautiful young man! My heart bleeds at this terrible loss! I hope that you are consoled among the mourners of Zion and Yerushalaim! Eva - Posted by: Eva Dragun (Friend) on: May 20, 2012

  • Just a fun & funny person to be around. Easy going in nature and always welcoming you with a smile. Sunday breakfasts at Stella's just won't be the same. Cheers David. - Posted by: Sean Kirady (Friend) on: May 20, 2012

  • A beautiful man very giving, full of affection and love for everyone he knew. Always, always there in a blink of an eye when needed. With no complaints, judgement or questions asked he was there to help out, give and entertain. I will continue to miss my beautiful, dear loving, friend David daily. - Posted by: Julie Kowalski (Friend) on: May 19, 2012
