Maria was born on September 1, 1935 in Pietregalla, Potenza, Italy and immigrated to Winnipeg at 18 years of age. She was known by all for her caring, giving nature and love of cooking. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews and family and special godchild, Gina. A memorial service was held in Kelowna, BC. She will be laid to rest with her brother in Burnaby, BC.
