Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Maurice was my bunk mate at a 4 week sea cadet summer trip to Van Island (‘57/58?). We were both cadets at HMCS Chippewa. Attended Mulvey school. We won the Bantam B city championship representing BOCC (Broadway Optomist Community Centre). I have a newspaper picture of that team with a great shot of him in back row, I can forward the picture if you supply a email address or text number. Maurice was a good athlete. We were not personal friends, but I respected his abilities and his passion. We were actually competitors at many events in our younger years. I do remember him telling me he was joking the Navy as a cook. That was the last time I saw him. - Posted by: Neil MacLean (Friend- team mate ( hockey)) on: Dec 16, 2023
