Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLIVER JOHN KLUSENDORF With sadness, the family of Oliver John Klusendorf share his passage to the jazz club in heaven on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the age of 87 years. With his daughter Shauna at his side, he took his last breath and went to sing the blues. Born June 15, 1924 to Meta Alberta (née McConnell) and Henry Hank Klusendorf, Oliver was predeceased by his parents, sister Helen Sims, brother Edward Klusendorf and twin brother Orville Klusendorf. He leaves his only daughter Shauna Senka, son-in-law Bryan Senka and grandchildren Blade and Peytyn. He also leaves cherished nieces and nephews and some long time close friends, including many in the local jazz music community. Dad worked at Eaton's for 23 years, then at Deer Lodge Hospital until he retired. Dad was an avid gardener and jazz music enthusiast, actively attending events in the local jazz community, including the Franco-Manitoba Mardi Jazz. He was actively involved in his grandchildren's lives and will be remembered for his kind, generous, loving nature and his snazzy suits. The family wishes to acknowledge the fantastic staff at Deer Lodge Prime Program and St. Boniface Hospital 7S for making his final days as comfortable as possible.
