You came into my life 10 years ago and we have shared many good times and laughs since. We've also shared some difficult times, but always with a sense of humour. The conversations I treasure the most were the sharing of grandchildren stories - you had more than me! I will always remember you with a smile and your "veggie plate" at a Chinese buffet. God Bless until we meet again. - Posted by: Christel Muhs (Friend) on: May 27, 2012

Goodbye Bill… You came into our lives over 30 years ago and became family; being there for family life, wedding, births, ups and downs; sharing family occasions and events with us, having a laugh, and being a significant member of our family. A few years ago, when I was in need and confused, you did something that was so kind and loving; you made it clear what needed to be done and saw that it happened. The type of compassionate gesture only family would make. It should not have come as a surprise to me. As I think back over the years, I simply remember you always being there… Sharing understanding and advice (often over a game of pool), caring and willing to step into the void left by a father lost too early and then quietly stepping back until asked back into that special space again. I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there to pay my respects today but my respect and appreciation are what you have. You will be greatly missed. You came into my life 1987 at work. You did my income tax and charged me $20 and I charged you a dinner, even last year it was $20 and you used to say I was the only client you lost money on. I talked you into straightening your eye and you said it was one of the best and few things you have done for yourself (you were always there for others). We had a wonderful friendship, full of fun, laughter, sharing the past, looking forward to the future. William you were one of the kindest, most caring men on this earth, I loved you then, I love you now and always will. Eileen - Posted by: Eileen Armstrong (His best woman friend) on: May 25, 2012

You came into my life when I was 13. You were there for me every step of the way, when I graduated, when I married and when Brian, Danny and Billy were born. You then also stepped into the role of grandfather. The boys, Lynn, Mum and I will love you forever and will miss you more than we can ever explain. Goodbye and God bless. - Posted by: Diana Earle (Daughter) on: May 25, 2012
