KEITH JAMES HUNTER 1947-2012 Keith passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home in Vancouver, BC on April 1 at 64 years. He is survived by his sister June, brother-in-law Joe Sanderson and his niece Jilleen Sanderson of Winnipeg and his nephew Jamie (Allison) Sanderson of Ottawa. He leaves two daughters, Alicia Bradshaw and Katelyn Hunter of BC. Also left to mourn are his dear friends, Sandra and Nick Phillips of Vancouver and their children, Shaun and Alexis. Keith was predeceased by his father Henry James in 1956, his mother Kathleen Jessie (nee Irvine) in 1985 and his brother Brent Thomas in 2000. Keith grew up in Morse Place (East Kildonan) and attended Salisbury, Morse Place and Miles MacDonell. He graduated from Red River College in Business Administration and was Senior Stick. Keith was one of the original members of the Lord Selkirk Boy Scout Pipe Band and later played in the RCAF Pipe Band. Cremation has taken place. Keith's funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 31 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Saviour's Anglican Church located at 690 Munroe Ave.,Winnipeg. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery will follow a reception in the Parish Hall. Flowers are gratefully declined.
