KENNETH AUDRAIN Kenneth Audrain, formerly of Winnipeg, MB, passed away suddenly on May 13, 2012 in Westbank, BC at the age of 83. Ken is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by Shirley, his wife of 53 years; daughters Donna and Allison; grandchildren Stefany, Ken, Matthew, Kristen, and Kyle. He was predeceased by his sister Donna, father Albert, mother and stepfather Maude and Mirron Golebeski. Ken was born in Winnipeg, MB. He worked for the C.P.R. for over 40 years before retiring in 1988 to British Columbia. An avid sports enthusiast, Ken had been an active member of the Rossmere and Elmhurst Golf and Country Clubs before his retirement. Ken and Shirley enjoyed many wonderful years together in the Okanagan. Ken's retirement focus shifted in 2003 when Shirley was diagnosed with FTLD and moved into a care facility a few years later. During his regular visits to spend the afternoons with Shirley, Ken was her biggest advocate and loving caregiver. A family memorial and interment was held in British Columbia. If friends so wish donations in Ken's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society, or a charity of their choice. Dad you will be forever in our hearts. Love you forever and always your family.
