ALICE ELIZABETH ELLEN WILLIS 1917 - 2012 It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of my mother Alice on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband Norman Willis, also parents John and Sarah Smeall, and siblings, George, Frank, Emeline, Allan, John, Harry and Tommy. Mom's memory lives on in the lives of her daughter, Marjory; granddaughter Helen (Wes); great-granddaughter Janae, and soon to be born second great-grandchild. Mourning the loss of their sister are Betty Marks, Ogle (Elsie) Smeall of Winnipeg and Howard Smeall of Trinidad, Colorado, as well as numerous nieces and nephews that were blessed by the joy of having a kind and loving Auntie Alice. During the Second World War Mom worked at McDonald Douglas Aircraft Factory as a riveter and later worked at Eatons. She was a devoted wife and mother and a wonderful caregiver. A family graveside funeral is planned at Chapel Lawn on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 2:30 p.m., Reverend Jeff Woodcraft presiding. The family wishes to thank all the staff and aides at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre that looked after my mother for the last 10 years.
