THOMAS ASHTON December 13, 1934 May 28, 2012 It is with sadness that the family of Tom Ashton announces his passing on May 28, 2012 after a brief illness. Tom will be remembered by Shirley his wife of 48 years; his son Peter and daughter-in-law Ozlem and grandchildren Sarah and Adam. Tom is also survived by his brother-in-law David Munro (Carol). Tom was a career employee of the Manitoba Hydro, starting with Winnipeg Electric in 1952 and retiring in 1989. His favourite pastime was travelling across Canada and the United States. He and his wife Shirley were snowbirds and spent each winter in Fort Meyers Florida. Cremation has taken place and no public service is planned. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society 45 Hurst Way Winnipeg, Manitoba R3T 0R3. THOMSON IN THE PARK 925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com
