JANET ELIZABETH VERMEULEN (nee FERRIS) Peacefully on June 1, 2012 at Victoria Hospital, Janet Vermeulen passed away at the age of 65 years. Jan leaves to mourn her passing her husband Harry, son Kevin Lepp, brothers Lewis Ferris (Nicole Dion) and Donald Ferris (Jeanne), sister Norina Martin, David and Gail Vermeulen, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Jan was predeceased by her mom and dad Tom and Mary Ferris, and her husband's parents Cory and Mavis Vermeulen. Jan worked at MTS for 29 years and volunteered extensively at Lion's Manor. She married her beloved Harry in 1994. She loved to read, crossword puzzles and being with her friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral service 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street.   • IT WAS REALLY SHOCKING TO HEAR THAT JAN HAD PASSED AWAY. SHE WAS ALWAYS HAPPY AND OUT GOING, IT WILL FEEL DIFFERENT TO NOT SEE HER AT LIONS MANOR. I KNOW SOME OF THE RESIDENTS WILL MISS HER, ALSO SHE WAS A KIND LADY AND SHE WILL SADLY MISS BUT NEVER FORGOTEN.
