Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINA BERNERT Katherina passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital on June 4, 2012, at the age of 81. Katherina was born in Mlinska, Yugoslavia on April 13, 1931. On March 31, 1951 she married Heinrich Beck and immigrated to Canada. Katherina was predeceased by her husband Heinrich in May 1963 and her second husband Peter Bernert in March 1999. She is survived by her children Robert (Patricia), Caroline (Fred), Walter (Colleen), Peter (Odette), nine grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 370 McKenzie St. at College Avenue. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
