Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION ELLA MEYERS (nee TANNER) (CHIEF) January 5, 1937 - June 3, 2012 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our mother of seven, sister and wife, Marion. She is preceded in death by her parents Elsie (nee Swain) and Joseph Edward Tanner, sisters Irene Bone, Amelia Tanner, Relia Tanner, Florence Tanner and Alice Mecas. Also preceding in death are her grandchildren Courtney and Joanne Bayer. Surviving are three sisters Mearle Weenusk (Lawerence), Linda Tanner, Hazel and one brother Willard Tanner. Marion is also survived by her children Marilyn (Walter), Ed (Marilyn), David Meyers (aka Huey), Curtis Meyers, Rhonda (David), Mearle and Mary Anne; her grandchildren Lance, Greg, Kevin, Edward Kyle, Melissa, Mearle, David Jr., Reberta, Myleen, Teekca, Robin, Selina, Kirsty, Kayla, Valarie and Kyle, and great-grandchild Duval. She leaves a husband of more than 52 years behind, Cecil Earl Meyers who she gave great devotion to. We want to mention that her grandchildren Selena and Robin were very close and know her as Mom. She will be greatly missed. Wake Service Wednesday, June 6, 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., funeral service June 7 at 11:00 a.m. also at the chapel. Interment Brookside Cemetery.
