Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Our visits to Manitoba always included some time with Uncle Bill and Aunt Susie. Roy and I will always remember Uncle Bill for his cheerfulness. During these last few years at Donwood, we noticed something in his eyes that conveyed an attempt to recognize us. We will miss both your parents and send our condolences to you, our cousins. • I remember the days my parents, (John & Evelyn Dyck) would visit with your parents. My late husband & I also visited your parents in Morden. Uncle Bill was always friendly & fun to visit with. My condolences on his passing. - Posted by: Doris (Dyck)Toews (Cousin niece) on: Jun 09, 2012

  • Bill and Susan were fine examples of what it meant to be supportive of each other in God's family....they freely offered their smiles and sentiments as they received us as friends of the family as well as their business 'advisors'! - Posted by: The Wiebes (friends of the family, business) on: Jun 09, 2012

  • We very much have enjoyed being able to help with taking your dad to church on Sunday mornings and Bible study on Thurs. evening. Who would ever have imagined that I (Bob) would be pushing your dad in his wheelchair after not seeing him for years and years. At times in church he would cheer and clap after hearing certain songs. There was "no dementia" when it came to his faith in God. When I would put his brother Ben next to him he would always recognize him and say Hi Ben. He has been a blessing to both of us. Our deepest condolences from both of us. With regret we are unable to attend either service as we are out of Wpg. on both days. May God bless all of you. • So enjoyed having your fine tenor voice in our choir and your and Susan's friendship after you moved to Winnipeg. Later it was good to have you present when we presented our programs at Donwood Manor. Now you will be enjoying heaven with John. Sadie Peters - Posted by: Sadie Peters (friend) on: Jun 09, 2012
