Mom was born on December 7, 1940 to Adeline and Frederick Morrissette. She must have been a beautiful baby, because grandma and grandpa went on to have 12 more children after mom's birth. She married Tom Rider and went on to have seven children who will remember her forever, Diane, Tim, Donna Braun (Terry), Brenda Camire (Brad), Christine Rider (Frank Warenko), Samantha Rider (Glen) and David; her much-loved grandchildren, Brandy, Trevor, Christopher, Nicole, Nicholas, Jason, Devon, Mack, Scott, Joseph, Shyla, Jasmine, Thomas, Angel, Joshua and Jayden; great-grandchildren Hayleigh, Ariana, Natara, Owen, and Mya, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Brothers and sisters Roy, Edward, Gordie, Abraham, Roderick (Colette), Florence, Gloria, Joanne (John), Rider in-laws Bud (Shirley), Ann (John), Marjorie, Melvin (Ina), Murray (Barb) and Gerald. She was predeceased by her husband Tom Rider, father and mother, brothers Robert and David Morrissette, sisters Bernice Hall and Sandra Reid, as well as her best friend and sister-in-law Margaret. The family wishes to thank the Seven Oaks Dialysis Unit, handi-transit unit and the home care workers for making it possible for mom to continue living in her own home. To the other dialysis patients and staff, she looked forward to your camaraderie and daily conversations. This made her treatments more bearable as she came to consider you all her friends. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 13 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing prior to service at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her sons and sons-in-law. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Christina's memory to the Seven Oaks Hospital Dialysis Unit. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

I will always love my Grandma Rider as I am so grateful in many ways that I got to see her before she passed away, there will always be a place in my heart for her and my grandpa. As bad as people thought I was, it didn't matter to her because I was her grandson and she loved me. I will always love you grandma & grandpa Rider, not a day goes by without me thinking of you two.. Thank you for the memories that will last a lifetime .. <3 - Posted by: Timothy Rider (Grandchild) on: Dec 20, 2012

Auntie Chris had a smile that would light up the room. She has left an imprint on my heart that will never fade. I have the feeling there is a heck of a Rider card game going on in Heaven right now. - Posted by: Linda Young (nee Rider) (Niece) on: Jun 11, 2012

Auntie Chris was my favourite Aunt. She was never in a hurray, always had time for a hug, the great smile, and that unforgettable giggle! - Posted by: Cheryl Robinson (Neice) on: Jun 09, 2012
