Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryH. GEORGE CARRIERE Peacefully, on Saturday, June 9, 2012 George passed away at home with his family by his side. He leaves to mourn his wife of 34 years, Dawn; children Colette (Trevor), Danielle, Kyle; grandchildren Kaylin, Jesse, Julia, Isabella and Hayden; his mother Sandra; siblings Corrine (Reg), Bruce (Cathy), Jacquie (Evan) and numerous other family members and friends. Dad worked at CP Rail for over 30 years and after retirement enjoyed spending time with his dog Nikka. Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Special thanks to Dr. David Breckman, Palliative nurses Louise and Jennifer for all their care and compassion, and also a very special thank you to Wilf and Teresa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba. Chapel Lawn 885-9715

Lois and I were greatly saddened to hear of George's passing. Although I have not seen him in quite a while he was a big part of my life and the memories of the good times spent at family get-togethers will always be part of me. We extend our condolences on the loss of George. Having grown up with George, Corrine, Bruce, and Jacquie, I hold many many fond memories of George. I remember so many times being in the breezeway (when no one had one) and being in the basement with the kids and Grandpa Charlie and the train. God bless each and everyone of you.
