Worked with Avis at Holt Renfrew for several years. I remember her as a lovely person to work with and have pictures from some social outings. My sincere condolences to the family. May she rest in eternal peace. - Posted by: Stella Carson,{Wytrykusz} (Friend and Co Worker at Holt Renfrew in the late 1940s) on: Jun 19, 2012

I always enjoyed my visits with Avis. Whether we were at a restaurant for supper, or at her lovely apartment or on the phone, we always enjoyed each others company very much. I will miss her greatly. She always hoped to reach her 100th birthday. Well done. - Posted by: Valerie Jacques (Friend) on: Jun 18, 2012

I will miss Avis, she was on my mind often. When she lived here, we spent a lot of time together and she always had a dish of ice cream ready for us when I would go to her place. Arlene, thanks for being so good to her. Fond memories. Tina - Posted by: Tina Hiebert (Friend) on: Jun 18, 2012
