JUDITH CONWAY It is with heavy hearts, but wonderful memories that we announce the passing of Judith Mary (nee Baker) Conway, on Thursday June 14, 2012 at the age of 68. Judi is survived by her husband Ray; son Dale (Stacey); daughter Tara; grandson Riley; brother Bill Baker (Erma); sister-in-law Lorie Baker; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Judi was predeceased by her parents (Edward and Margaret Baker) and brother John. Judi made many friends in her many years of volunteering with Irish and Scottish Folklorama pavilions and also community centres (CCB and GCWCC). Special thanks to the Staff at Victoria General Hospital, to family and friends. Judi's wishes were to have a celebration of life tea that will be held July 7, 2012 at Glenwood Community Centre (27 Overton St.) from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Mama-Judi, as we liked to call you. You were my kids other mom on the block, always there for them and for our family, our neighborhood watch, our neighborhood cop, our street will never be the same without you. You will be missed by all of us in more ways than 1. God just received 1 of the best and toughest angels he may ever see. Its just too bad you had to leave us so soon. May you rest in peace. - Posted by: Jackie+Mike (friend/neighbor ) on: Jul 05, 2012

Remembering the early years, friends at school where we had many good times. Life took us in different directions only to bring us back together again through the world of community centres. I'm so glad that we had a chance to get to know one another again. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. - Posted by: Marlene Amell (Friend) on: Jun 28, 2012

Judi, You brought a smile to everyone who cared for you. You were strong even in the toughest times, a true fighter but I am glad you are now at peace and no longer suffering. I am only sorry that I didn't know you when you were well. My thoughts and prayers are with your family, keep strong! - Posted by: Nicole ( Nurse) on: Jun 24, 2012

Judi - We had a lot of fun and good times, we laughed and shared books and one of us swore a lot, especially while driving. You were my "sister" and I will miss you but I do have some awesome memories. Thank you for being such a good friend. - Posted by: Susan McLarty (Friend) on: Jun 23, 2012
