Dear Mrs. Kroeker, Janet and families, I am sorry to hear of Mr. Kroeker's passing. He was a fine person and I have so many fond memories of him. As a principal, he was the golden example for all. I am lucky to have met him especially so early in my teaching career at Victoria Albert School. He once told me you may never know the impact you have on another (child) and I believe that can certainly be said of Mr. Kroeker as well. He made a significant impact on his staff particularly me. My thoughts are with you and your families at this time. ~Jean Tanchuk - Posted by: Jean Tanchuk (collegue) on: Oct 11, 2012

Mr. Kroeker was the principal at Garden Grove and he was respected and admired for his leadership. I'll always remember him as "my principal" and looking up to him when I was a child. Peace be with his family, deepest sympathies. - Posted by: Kris (former student) on: Jun 28, 2012

David Kroeker is a fine gentleman. Being a School Principal I am sure was not an easy task as being a teacher was not too easy either: yet, we all did the best we could. In those days, teachers were assigned to a school and the Principal just needed to receive the teacher. I was well received by David and I am certainly happy to have known him. He did a good job. Thank you for putting the obituary in the Winnipeg Free Press so that I can be in communion with you on Friday. I'm sorry for you loss and God bless you all. I remember Mr. Kroeker from Aberdeen Junior High School in the 1970's. He was a very nice gentleman who always seemed to use a gentle voice of reason with students. Sincere condolences to his wife and family members. - Posted by: Shirley Timm-Rudolph ((former student)) on: Jun 27, 2012
