GEORGINA DOROTHY HOLT (nee JONES) Georgina (Georgie) passed away at Oakview Personal Care Home on Sunday, July 1, 2012. Georgie was predeceased by her husband Walter Holt in 1962, her father Charles Jones in 1957, and her mother Dorothy Jones in 1981. Georgina was born in Winnipeg. She had been a former Employee of Eatons of Canada and was a member of O.E.S. Fort Garry Chapter #17 and a former member of St. John's Chapter O.E.S. In 2010 the Grand Chapter of Manitoba presented Georgie with a Certificate for Recognition of Years of Faithful Service in honour of her 60 Years of Membership. A Funeral Service for Georgie will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery), with private interment to follow. For those who wish, flowers or a donation in Georgie's memory can be made to the Dream Factory, 303-1 Wesley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6. Deepest thanks and appreciation are extended to the staff at Oakview Place for the excellent care given to Georgie for the past two years.
