Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMMA MARIANNE DANIELS (nee BONE) Emma Marianne Daniels born June 5, 1943, daughter of Angus Bone and Rose Rattlesnake passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012 in Surrey, BC at the age of 69. Emma was predeceased by parents, Angus and Rose, brothers Soloman and George Bone, sister Margaret Shingoose (nee Bone), grandsons Nathan and Michael Starr, son-in-law Lawrence Whitehead, and former husband Louis Daniels. Emma was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her children Olga, Danielle, Janice (John), Mona, Roanne (Karl), Nancy, Perry (Kim), Kimbi, Melissa, 26 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, sisters Grace Boyer (nee Bone) and Catherine Shingoose (nee Bone), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Emma was born in Elphinstone, Manitoba and was a member of Keeseekoowenin First Nation and later Long Plain First Nation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel which is located at 724 Selkirk Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Emma's memory to the ALS Society of Manitoba.
