I bumped into Uncle Frank at CityPlace last spring and met him the next day for lunch. He was so happy to hear about all the family from Sagkeeng. Funny thing was, he seemed to know more about some people than I did. He had a lot of friends and contacts. I really enjoyed my visit with him and especially when he spoke to me in the Ojibway language. He always had something to laugh about. He even introduced me and my co-worker to some of his buddies who also hung out at CityPlace. Before I left I gave him a big hug and told him to take care and that I loved him. He reminded me of my dad (passed on) and the card games they always had whenever we went to visit him and granny Sarah in the city. I appreciate and am very grateful for knowing him. He was always so kind, gentle, and very positive in life. I will miss him dearly. I know that he is in a better place with our loved ones in the spirit world. Love & hugs to Auntie Alma, Uncle Henry, and to the family. :) - Posted by: Jean Robinson (Great Niece) on: Jul 10, 2012
