MARILYN FLORENCE NABISH March 31, 1948 - July 2, 2012 With her loved ones at her side, Marilyn Nabish peacefully passed away at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, following a period of declining health. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 25 years, Gary Stone, son Christopher Judson; daughter Carolyne Favell; brother Gary Williamson; sister-in-law Diana Gosselin; nieces Ashley and Tia Williamson; nephews Jordie and Dustin Williamson; grandchildren Marika Howell-Favell, and Cairo and Lenna Favell, as well as her many close friends and extended family. Marilyn was predeceased by her father Maurice (Morris) Prince, mother Florence Nabish and granddaughter Carmaria Favell. Marilyn was born in Eagle Lake, Ontario, and the majority of her life was spent in Winnipeg, MB. Marilyn was a very sacrificial and giving woman and was always willing to help others. She was a very private person, with a great sense of humour and loved a good story. The family would like to thank all the staff who tended to Marilyn at the CCU at Health Sciences Centre. A special thank you to Bardal Funeral Home for their patience and understanding. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street.
