HENRY STEVE STOYKO It is with great sorrow that the family of Henry Stoyko announce the passing of their much beloved Uncle Hank at the age of 80. Henry is survived by his sister Olga Malinowski (late John), his brother Lawrence Stoyko (Hazel), nieces Marion Higgins, Carolyn Senger, and Catherine Shorey; nephews Lawrence Malinowski, Michael Malinowski, Peter Stoyko, David Stoyko, their spouses and families. Henry retired after 37 years of service with the Canada Revenue Agency. Henry greatly enjoyed the outdoors. In his younger years he was engaged in target shooting (rifle), trap and skeet, and duck hunting. The outdoor activity he enjoyed the most was fishing. For many years he kept his family well supplied with wild blueberries. In retirement his long daily walks included retrieving and returning abandoned grocery carts. Henry was a true gentleman. He was kind, generous, non-judgmental, eccentric and anti-fashion. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Cremation has taken place. It was Henry's wish that no service be held. We got to know Henry at Thorvaldson's Care Center. He always took time to sit and have a chat as well as sometimes helping our Mom back to her room. We miss him. It was a great pleasure to know him for the short time we did. Our sympathies. - Posted by: Bev and gerald Laggo (Friends) on: Jul 16, 2012

As someone who only met Hank a few times, but saw the impact he had on his niece's life, I can truly say this is a man whose generosity and way of life was respected beyond words. You will be missed, but rest assured you made a strong impact in this world Uncle Hank. - Posted by: Amy Shawcross (Friend of the family) on: Jul 16, 2012

The Wah Family extends their heartfelt sympathy with your loss. Years ago Hank, Lawrence and I were shooting at the Winnipeg Trap & Skeet Club and Hank said: We made it look so easy it was like "shelling peas" That was Hank. - Posted by: Larry Wah (Friend) on: Jul 16, 2012
