Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA JANE ROGOSKI Barbara Jane Rogoski passed away peacefully, at 65 years of age, on Monday, July 16, 2012 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. Barb was born in Gimli, Manitoba on March 5, 1947. She is survived by her loving husband Larry, sons Randy and Jade, and four grandchildren, Dallas, Colten, Candice, and Jayla. Predeceased by her parents, John and Bertha Nedotiafko, and brothers Roger and Reg. Barb was brought up in Winnipeg Beach and attended Winnipeg Beach school and Gimli High. She worked at Cozies Restaurant at the Beach then moved to Winnipeg and worked for Peoples Credit Jewellers. Barb met Larry in Winnipeg Beach and married in 1971 and soon moved back staying at home to raise her first son Randy. Later in 1976 Barb had her second son Jade. The family moved to Winnipeg in 1981 where Barb continued to be a stay at home mom, raising her two boys. She loved kids and worked as a babysitter at home. Barb and Larry moved back to the Beach in 2000 where she enjoyed her last years creating her beautiful yard. She was a passionate gardener and loved creating beautiful gardens and working at the Beach Garden Centre. She also loved Arts and Crafts and created many beautiful pieces for friends and family. A special thanks to Johnson Memorial Hospital staff, nurses and Palliative Care for making Barb's last days comfortable and peaceful. Thanks to all Barb's friends and family for their support. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 1st Avenue, Gimli, MB.

When I lose a friend I like to look back at the many memories we would have shared together as friends. There were many fond memories of having known Barb. Barb, you will be missed by all that you loved and touched in your life. My Condolences goes out to Larry, Randy & Jade. The first time I had met Barb was back in 1972 when we moved from Montreal to Wpg. Beach. I remember like it was yesterday when a woman ran across the back yard to our house as her home was hit by lightening.
