WILLIAM FRANCIS JAMES POTTINGER 1992 - 2012 On Monday, July 16, 2012, the angels took Billy home to live with his baby brother Trayven. Billy is survived by his special friend Nikki; his mom Tracey and stepdad Dennis Monroe; sister Jolene, and her children Montana Autumn and Adrian; brothers Brandon and Anthony; Granny Florence Pottinger; Papa Frank Bates, Gramz Adrienne Bates, favourite aunty Janeen (Cory, Jenna and Jada, Zakkary); dad Wilfred Moar and family; granny Mary Jane, grandpa John Moar; special aunty Della Patchinose; cousin Justin; uncles Clarence and Waylon Moar. He will be deeply mourned by the Pottinger, Bates, Moar, Patchinose and Christine Funk families. Billy loved chillin with friends, boxing, UFC fighting and Gramz's sweet and sour meatballs. Billy was an awesome boy with a winning smile. Hurt does not even begin to describe how his family and friends feel. Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2012, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with service, Monday, July 23, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel. Luncheon to follow at 1061 Ellice Ave.

  • Watched as the tragedy unfolded last Monday and my heart ached. I did not know this young man but I knew somewhere a Mom and a family's heart was breaking. I have kids and today I hold them extra tight and shed a fear for this boy's family . My deepest heartfelt condolences to all who were blessed by his life. There is a memorial in front of the pond for him. I walk by each day. You can tell he was truly loved by all who knew him.
