Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Dr Wilson befriended my mom when she was young and moved to Flin Flon and knew no one, so when I was born to honor him she named me Glenda. I have always felt proud of that name. I re met Dr Wilson in his condo in Twassen about ten yrs ago thru a woman also known to me as Mom, Mrs Phylis Clarke, her and Dr Wilson were neighbors/friends. He remembered me right away. What a good man he was and he was always so kind to my mom. I believe he delivered many of my siblings too. Thank you Dr Wilson, a gentleman and a gentle man! - Posted by: Glenda Deans (friend) on: Aug 05, 2012

  • The people of Flin Flon will remember your dad and mom with fondness and respect! We were so fortunate to share the beautiful bay on Athapap with your family, the Callanders, Morrisons, Van Nesses, Blacks, Lisses, Dembinskys, to name a few. When we were kids, your dad never seemed to mind that we would go to your cabin to get our cuts, bruises, or sore throats checked out by the doctor. We hope that the love of your family and friends support you during this difficult time. Your dad was an exceptional man! - Posted by: Kathy Frecker (Price) (Friend) on: Aug 05, 2012

  • Dr. Wilson was my doctor in Flin Flon, MB in the mid 40s when I had surgery twice when I was a young child. Each time he visited he bought me a small gift. He was such a kind man. - Posted by: Dianne Gauthier LaSchiazza (former patient) on: Aug 05, 2012
