We met Murray thru a mutual friend, Laverne Turnbull in 2004(?), when Murray wanted to send his filly, Armbro Cinema, to Ontario to race in the Sires Stakes. We campaign this nice filly for him for 8 months capping it off with a win in the Ontario Girls Series final at Woodbine. A few years later he sent us St. Lads He Man, who won a couple of Grassroots Sires Stakes. We have kept in contact with him over the years and enjoyed visiting him when he came every fall to the yearling sales. We are so incedibly sad to hear of his passing, he was much too young. Our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends, he will be dearly missed. Sincerely, Jim and Marni Koelln, Cambridge, ONT. - Posted by: Jim and Marni Koelln (Standardbred business accociate and friend) on: Aug 01, 2012
