MARY DOWLING (nee AUCH) It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother Mary Dowling on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at the Health Sciences Centre. Mary was born December 22, 1932 and was predeceased by her parents Adolf and Bertha, her sister Nina and her brother Gustav. Mary is survived by her children, Glen (Linda), Marlene, Janet (Don), Terry (Kelly), Alan (Dietlinde); grandchildren, Markus and Danika; sister Herta Kihn and brother Albert Auch plus numerous relatives in the Winnipeg, Steinbach, and Woodridge areas, whose lives she took an active interest in right up until her sudden passing. Despite having to endure lengthy personal health challenges, Mom's courage, determination for life, and compassion for others is the legacy Mom has left for all to remember. The family wish to express their sincere gratitude to the Emergency Staff of the Grace Hospital and Health Sciences Centre for the care and compassion given to Mom. As per Mom's request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Mary's life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
