Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILY MYSLAWCHUK (STOROZUK) December 21, 1915 - August 3, 2012 Peacefully with family by her side, on Friday, August 3 at The Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, Emily passed away at the age of 96. She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1984, daughter-in-law Janet, grandson-in-law Albert, sister Sophie, brothers Harry, Joe, Michael, Fred, and Tony. Her memory will be forever cherished by her son Ivan, daughters Marlene and Elizabeth (Wesley), grandchildren; Cherrille, Micheal, Deborah, Diane, Barbara (Marc), Robert; great-grandchildren; Evan, Halle and Hayden. She is survived by her sisters Anne and Helen, brothers John (Katie) and Louis (Helen). Emily was born in Seech, Manitoba, and moved to Winnipeg as a young woman where she met her husband Mike and they married in 1937. Together they raised three children in a home they built in St. James. Emily retired from Superlite Electric in 1981. The family would like to say a special thank you to all the staff (especially the 3rd floor) of The Winnipeg Convalescent Home for the excellent care and attention given to Emily the past few years of her life.
