Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I have such wonderful memories of teaching with Olive at Ryerson Elementary and later working with her at Bonnycastle School in Fort Garry in Winnipeg. She was such a good friend when my husband and I moved to Winnipeg from Toronto. We taught together as part of the grade three team and she had the most wonderful giggle. Olive was such a good teacher, a loving Mom and so modest about her many talents. Our sympathies to her family. - Posted by: Janice Low (Teaching partner in the Fort Garry School Division) on: Aug 12, 2012

  • Olive and I taught Grade 3 together for about six years. I was new to teaching and Olive was so supportive and helpful. She was a lovely person and a wonderful teacher. Her students loved her. We taught together at Ryerson Elementary. Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your lovely Mother. May God be with you at this difficult time. Sincerely, Susan Wellard - Posted by: Susan Wellard (nee Blair) (friend and colleague) on: Aug 07, 2012

  • I used to enjoy coming with mom and dad to visit all the family in Rorketon and I do remember Olive and Peter. My husband and I offer our deepest sympathies to the family - Posted by: Sylvia ( Kachur) Yaremko (cousin Anton Kachur daughter) on: Aug 07, 2012
