MALCOLM (MAC) CHARLES HORN April 9, 1946 August 6, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father and Papa. On Monday, August 6, 2012 Mac passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 66 years, following a three year battle with lung cancer. Mac will be lovingly remembered and missed by his beloved wife Barb of 42 years; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Leanne; and his treasured grandson Benjamin; brothers, Cam (Jane) Horn; Reg (Linda) Horn and sister, Deanna McKinnon. He was predeceased by his parents, Rhynard and Bernice Horn; brothers Gerry Horn and Donald Horn. Due to ill health in 2009, Mac retired from Inland Cement after 40 years of service, working as an Industrial Millwright. Pa was never happier than in the summer when he could be found outside working in his yard or tinkering in his garage. If he could not be found in his yard, you could find him over at Michael and Leanne's helping in their yard. Pa very much enjoyed and was extremely proud of his grandson Benjamin. The two of them spent many hours together, playing, making jokes and laughing. On Monday, August 13, 2012 Mac's Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. in Sanford United Church, 4 Main Street, Sanford, MB. Interment will follow in the Sanford Cemetery. Everyone is invited back to the Church after for remembrance and celebration of our dear Pa. We request that the service and celebration be a casual event. Thank you to those that gave extra care and support to Mac during his illness. We would also like to thank Dr. Pat Harris and the staff at Grace Hospital for their care, kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9, or Children's Rehabilitation Foundation, 633 Wellington Crescent, Winnipeg Manitoba R3M 0A8. WE LOVE YOU! Ma, Michael, Leanne and Benjamin
