I remember Leonard back in the 1990's when he worked at my parents restaurant. I found this obituary by accident and I am truly saddened by Leonard's passing. I remember him fondly and he will be missed. - Posted by: Leanna (family friend) on: Jul 20, 2014

So sorry to hear of Leonard's unexpected passing. We were a couple years apart so we attended elementary school together. I'll always remember how he looked out for his little cousin and wouldn't let anyone pick on me. He had a kind and gentle heart. - Posted by: Colleen Roddy (1st cousin on biological mother's side) on: Sep 18, 2012

We always chatted while he was walking the dogs. If he saw me cutting grass he would always come and talk to me. My last chat was him telling me about his operation and how hard it was. It was a tragic day and my condolences to the family. - Posted by: Laurie (Neighbor) on: Aug 19, 2012

I met Jim and Linda as well as the family in 1990 I lived in their home. They treated me like their own son. Leonard was a awesome brother and I loved him. I will miss him dearly. Our prayers are with you Mom and Dad as well as Terry and Joe, Shelley and Gary as well as Leroy. Love you all and God be with you in this tragic loss of your son. I remember the 1st day I saw you in your little yellow jumper. I remember how your mother wouldn't let anyone call you Len or Lenny or Leonardo....IT'S LEONARD! I'm sorry I have so little to remember. You were the last of that branch of the family tree; Aunty Gladys mourns the loss deeply as do I. The McIntosh's were certainly a blessing to you; may God bless and comfort them in this time of tragedy. - Posted by: Wes Jansson (1st Cousin on biological father's side) on: Aug 15, 2012

Hi my name is Shelley Foss. I have fond memories of talking with your son on many days always with a big hello and how are you. He was always so polite and nice to me. One of my fondess memories I have is my first year at Walmart. His sister Shelley had asked me to come help on a float for the triple s rodeo so I did. We dressed Leonard up as the Walmart mascot. It was so hot that day and he did, and he was so much fun, this is when I first met him. He made such a nice memory for me and in my heart he will be missed. With love and prayers for all. - Posted by: shelley and darren foss and family (friends with family ) on: Aug 15, 2012

Jim & Linda, We knew of Leonard from years ago. We knew his father George and mother Doreen when they lived in Great Falls. We purchased a yellow carriage for our daughter Danielle in 1966. Doreen would remember. It brings tears to my eyes to read of his life in Selkirk. So glad to know of his wonderful life in Selkirk. Our sincere sympathy in your loss. Wish we had known his Tim Horton fondness. Who knows we might have met and not known. To biological Mom, Doreen, we extend our sincere condolences. Leonard Rest in Peace. - Posted by: Ed & Yolande Bruneau (previous aquaintance) on: Aug 15, 2012

My deepest condolences to Jim and Linda and all Len's family. I worked with Len and Jim at ERAC a few years back, and the McIntosh family left a huge impression on me. Len was always so witty, and willing to do anything for you. I will miss you Len! I am sure you are somewhere where you can get all the steeped tea triple triples! - Posted by: Stacey () on: Aug 13, 2012
