Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY TORNOPOLSKI Born on January 17, 1928, our beloved father, grandfather and uncle Stan passed away peacefully on August 9, 2012 at St. Boniface Hospital. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons Maurice (Marion), John (Linda) and Jim, grandsons Darryl (Sarah), Michael (Marlaina) and Matthew and numerous nieces and nephews. Stan was predeceased by his wife of 60 years Sadie, grandson Derek, parents Michael and Kasia and siblings Tony, Millicent, Elsie, Frank, Elizabeth, and Claudia. He loved nature and being outdoors. He was the happiest when he was picking mushrooms and blueberries with his beloved Sadie, working in his garden or spending his precious time with the beloved pets Pippi and Falsey. Stan enjoyed working throughout his life. He worked as a farmer, with the Provincial Forestry Department and at the Radisson Hotel from where he retired. We would like to thank Dr. Gingrich, the staff at CancerCare Manitoba and the palliative care unit at the St. Boniface Hospital for their excellent support and compassionate care during Stan's illness. Memorial gifts may be made in Stan's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, or the Winnipeg Humane Society. Stan's Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
