JOHN THOMAS SCOTT John passed away on Monday, August 14 2012, at the Portage District General hospital in Portage la Prairie, MB, at the age of 68 years. He was predeceased by beloved wife Nadene, of 41 years, in 2006, his parents Walter and Clarice, sister Beverly, sister Betty, and brother Robert. Lovingly remembered by his companion Marlene Pliszka of Portage la Prairie, children Brian Scott of Portage, Kelly Scott (Sandra Skorpad) of Winnipeg, MB, grandchildren Kira and Kaelen Scott, Brenden and Bailee Scott and Andrew and Noah Skorpad, along with many siblings, nieces, nephews, and their children, godson Christopher Allanson, and many friends and acquaintances. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012, at Trinity United Church, 15 Tupper St. S. Portage la Prairie at 1:00 p.m., led by Reverend Margaret Scott. Interment will follow, in the family plot at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of John may be made to Central Plains Cancer Care, 318 Sask.
