Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I first met Mae at Ram Wools. We worked together for 5 years, until I stopped working to raise my children. Mae was a very special lady and I will always be grateful for having met her. Mae was the wonderful lady who knit the silk sweater I was married in and was at our wedding to see me wear it. Thanks You so much for sharing in that special part of our lives. May God Bless your family and find comfort in the memories they have of a wonderful, caring and generous lady. - Posted by: Tambi And Steve Dalman (Worked at Ram Wools with Mae) on: Aug 25, 2012

  • Mae and I shared many happy and sad memories. Mae & Ina (at Watkins) were there with their support when my Mother became ill. They were both also there with their support when I was getting married. The three of us shared many, many, happy memories. Even though we hadn't seen or spoken to each other for many years she has remained among my fondest memories. - Posted by: Dianna (Malley) Woodward (Friend) on: Aug 24, 2012

  • Allan, Jimmy & Doug. Sorry to hear about your mom. We had lots of friendly conversations over the fence. We live out at Victoria Beach M.B - Posted by: pat & Earl olafson (freind that live at 795 Ebby Ave. back lane.) on: Aug 24, 2012

  • Sorry to hear of Mae's passing. I met her over thirty some years ago as we travelled the same bus route to work. I enjoyed our many visits. After I was married she corresponded with me for many years and even came out to visit us on the farm with some of her grandchildren. Over the last few years we never kept in touch but I thought of her often and wondered if she was still living in Winnipeg. My sincere condolences to her family, she was a wonderful lady and I will remember her fondly. - Posted by: Sandra Keen (fellow bus traveller) on: Aug 24, 2012
