Funeral mass and interment only will be held on Monday, August 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Hadashville. The family would like to thank the staff at Tower 7, Deer Lodge Center, for the constant care they gave Mom while she was with them; the doctors and nurses at the Grace Hospital, who made her last days comfortable; her nurses, Alana and Tara for their care and compassion; a special thank you to Aunt Liz for her frequent visits and care for Mom this past year. God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered Come to Me . With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. You will be in our hearts until we meet again. May you rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ukrainian Catholic Parish Cemetery in Hadashville, c/o Donna Shendroski, Box 28, Hadashville, MB R0E 0X0.
