CATHERINE MARY MOHAN (nee CONEY) May 12, 1927 - August 29, 2012 Peacefully on Wednesday August 29, 2012 our mother passed away in the comfort of her home and family. She was predeceased by her mother Catherine and father Neal, her brothers Jack, John, Jodi, and Oliver. She is survived by her sisters Rosie, Bridgette, Kathleen, and Josephine and her brother Patie and devoted husband Daniel Mohan of 59 years of marriage. She leaves behind her children Joseph (Lorraine), Martin, John, Danielle, Colin, Colette (Jerry), and Bernadette (Kevin). As well as grandchildren Dustin, Alanna, Liam, Brenna, Jennifer, Erin (James), Alisha, Brendan, Shaun, and great-grandchildren Kristine, Seth, Tyra, and Lelynd. Our mother was born in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland and came to Canada in 1951. She held many jobs, but it was her love of beekeeping that filled her life along with her gardens. We thank father Dado of St. Anne's Parish in Petersfield for your support and blessings and Gilbart Funeral Home in Selkirk for your care and kindness of our mother's final journey. We also wish to thank Dr. Demsas and all the staff at the Selkirk General Hospital and public home care nurse Carol and all the home care support from Gimli. Prayers and viewing will be held Friday August 31, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, MB. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Parish in Petersfield, MB. May God hold you in his arms as you rest in peace.
