EVA DERKSEN (nee SOBERING) Eva Derksen, aged 87 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Beausejour Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 7 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour. EVA DERKSEN (nee SOBERING) Eva Derksen, aged 87 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Beausejour Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Glen (Betty), Dennis (Theresa), Gail Bohemier and Dorothy Haywood; her grand-children Patricia, Cindy, Lezlie, Devin, Chris, Koreen, Michael, Celine, Andrew, Eric and Alana; her great-grandchildren; her brothers John, Bill (Gladys), Frank (Lena), Henry (Kathy), Art (Dorothy), Walter (Dora) and Jim (Nita); her sisters Anne Wiebe and Helen (Jack) Harder, sister-in-law Irene Sobering as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Eva was predeceased by her husband Peter, sons in-law Chick and Michel Kiki , brothers Peter, Ed, Albert, Ben and sister Barbara in infancy. A special thank you to the staff the Beausejour Hospital and the Palliative Care Team for the care and compassion they showed towards mom. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 7 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour.
