ROSE DELIMA MCCARTHY (nee FIOLA) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Delima McCarthy (née Fiola) on August 25, 2012. She was born in Rosewood, Manitoba in 1921. Rose had a positive outlook and she had a great love for her family and for all people. She was a beautiful social butterfly. She leaves to mourn: her children Ronald (Paulette), Doris Dubbert (Albert), Louise Beaudry (Lloyd), Annette (Louis Mondor), Lorraine Swick, Eveline Wall (Dennis), Norman (Judy), John, Florence LaPointe (Michael) and Marcel; her siblings: Cecile Michaud, Theodore (Lorenza) Fiola, Irene Martin, Roland (Georgette) Fiola, her sisters-in-law: Helene Gregoire, Jeanne Fiola and brother-in-law Frank McCarthy; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Emilien McCarthy (1998), her son Dennis, her parents Victorine and Elzear Fiola, and many siblings: Victor, Stanislas, Noel, Alice, Lucien, Adrien and Eva; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A celebration of Rose's life will be held on Saturday, September 15 at 1:45 p.m. at Eglise Précieux-Sang, 200 Kenny St. and immediately followed by a Catholic mass. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Actionmarguerite (Centre Taché) for their compassion, service and for making our mother feel so loved and at home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army in Rose McCarthy's memory.   • I was very torn in not coming.I am sending my family my love. My Grandma was laid to rest beside my Grandpa and my Dad. Couldn't handle being there.   • Since I started working at tache rose was always there to make the hard days better. Her smile her kind words and her presence just made every day brighter.I will never forget that every day doris or flo would come she would say that's my adopted daughter. Rose and her family will forever be in my thoughts as they all have touched me and affected me greatly.
