ROD STAFFORD Passed away peacefully in his 81st year on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, surrounded by his family in Etobicoke General hospital. Rod will always be lovingly remembered by his daughters and 'sons' , Wendy and Ralph Fyfe, Karen and Mike Vukets, Shelley and Pete McGrann, his precious grandchildren Brendon (Gwen), Richard (Shauna), Jordan (Erica), Janice (Shawn), Christy (Riley), Brett (Ariel) and Karlee, and his very special great-grandchilden Evan, Madeline, Hayden and Jackson and many other dear relatives and friends. A special thank you to Dr. Mohamed and the nurses in palliative care at Etobicoke General Hospital for their kind and caring attention. Respecting Rod's wishes, the family will not be holding a public memorial service. Donations may be made to the Parkinson Society Canada at 4211 Yonge St. Suite 316, Toronto, ON, M2P 2A9, or a charity of your choice.

Our sincere condolences on the loss of your Dad and Grandpa. He was a wonderful man and all who knew him will miss him, most especially all of his wonderful family. You could always see the sparkle in his eye when he was talking about any of you - he was clearly proud of his family! We felt like part of his family too as he was always so happy to see us and so interested in our lives. We will miss the times we shared with him. May you take comfort in your precious memories.
