Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN PETER (JP) MCINTYRE ELAINE JEAN MCINTYRE It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, mother, nana and papa, John (JP) and Elaine. After a brief illness Dad passed quietly on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 and after a lengthy illness Mom passed quietly on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Left to mourn are their children Cathy (Dan), Cam and Neil, his five grandchildren Alan (Megan), Doug (Jill), Stephanie, Justin and Becca (Troy), his three great-grandchildren Caleb, Noah and Lorelai, and Elaine's sister Bev Matheson and her family. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., at Broadway First Baptist Church, 790 Honeyman at Walnut. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, or the Winnipeg Humane Society. Remember us with smiles and laughter for that is how we will remember you all. If you can only remember us with tears then don't remember us at all. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.mb.ca 885-9715

Elaine & I were friends and neighbours growing up on Douglas Park Road. It really was an idealic childhood.....many memories and at this time only joyous memories. Our friendship survived for over 60 years and was always treasured. I did not know John well but he was always kind and generous to me whenever I would visit Wpg. I would like to think they are together again and happy in a lovely place.
