VELMA E. (ROTH) POTT December 9, 1938 - September 2, 2012 Velma left us peacefully into a well-deserved rest with her family at her side on September 2, 2012. Thank you to all of her caregivers over the last many years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Evelyn (Ken), Murray (Jacqueline), Karen (Dave) as well as her four grandchildren, Kyle, Kelsey, Kayla and Leanne. She is survived by one sister, Wilma Sandulak. She is predeceased by her husband Gordon, her parents, four sisters, son Keith and grandson Kurtis. Velma grew up in Carman, MB and moved to the area of Ridgeville, MB where she farmed with husband Gordon until they retired to Roseau River. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her four cherished grandchildren. Viewing will be held at the Greenridge United Church in Greenridge, MB at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2012 with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the church cemetery immediately following the service.
