LAURENCE R. GARTNER April 2, 1920 - August 31, 2012 Peacefully at age 92, at the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Ann and sons Mike (Teri) and John (Suzanne), grandchildren Jeremy (Ainslie), Joel (Stephanie), Keri Yates (Rob), Ryan (Erina) and great-grandchildren, Madalyn, Annaya, Liam, Noah, and Ava. Many thanks to the homecare workers and palliative ward staff who took such good care of Dad in his last days. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family gathering to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Larry Gartner to University of Winnipeg Athletics Community Outreach, University of Winnipeg Foundation, 901 - 491 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2E4.
