PARIS RENE CAMERON BRUCE It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Paris Rene Cameron Bruce on September 7, 2012, at the Health Sciences Centre. Paris was born July 5, 1996, he was 16 years of age. Paris had many nicknames. He was known as Lil Man, Pierre, Strawberry and Monsterboy. Parrot was the most common. He got this one from his grandmother. Once he learned how to talk, there was no stopping him. He had many stories and shared them like a parrot. He was a colourful boy who always had a smile on his face. Just being around him would bring one to yours too. Paris enjoyed playing X-Box games with his friends. He loved movies, either watching them at home or going to the theatre. Paris enjoyed eating and tasting new foods. He wore Jordan clothing including many hats. He enjoyed sketching. Also he loved to assemble things, even if that meant he had to take it apart just to reassemble them. Paris had many friends. He was close with his sister. He will be dearly missed and happily remembered as our Little Parrot. Now he is our sweet angel who will be with us all in our hearts forever. Thank you Paris for the fond memories. The family would like to thank the Health Sciences Centre staff in the S.I.C.U. for their support and compassion during this difficult time. Also thank you to family, friends, Chief and Council of Lake St. Martin First Nation. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with George Beardy officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery followed by a gathering for Family and Friends at the Freight House, 200 Isabel Ave., Door 5-6. Pallbearers are Chad, Carson, Franklin, Norman, Shane and Nathan. Honorary Pallbearers are all who knew him. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

  • Paris Bruce, You were our best friend. You were the one to walk through our door and put a smile on our face as soon as you get there, walking through the door saying "papa's home", and that would make us smile no matter what kind of mood we are in. On August 17, 2012: you were supposed to come and spend the night with us, you wanted to have a slumber party, eat junk food and watch movies, you also wanted to get dressed up like a girl for us and take pictures with us. We miss you soo much, nothing will ever take away the pain these bunch of idiots brang to us and everyone who loves you. We miss you and love you soo much, but we know now that you are in a better place and you will be watching over us. • Paris, I wish this upon nobody what you went through! I can't believe this happened to you. You always knew how to make everyone smile by the silliest things. You had such amazing eyes, I wish you were still down here with us. I remember one day at school you were standing behind me in the pizzaline, and you were way too shy to say hi but you always messaged me on facebook. No one deserves to lose a son, brother, grandson, nobody deserves to lose anyone! I remember all the things you did for Kendra, always protecting her at all times. I'm here to say, you will forever be missed, and you are one very loved boy! My condolences go to your mother/father/sister! While you were in the hospital I was praying everyday for you to get better! Please watch over all of us making sure we're all safe <3 You will always be in my thoughts. Until the day we meet again, in my heart is where I'll keep you friend. Rest In Paradise Paris Bruce! I'll never forget you! - Posted by: Melissa Moar (Friend) on: Sep 13, 2012
