Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELEANOR (SEMENIUK) GERLANG February 10, 1946 - September 8, 2012 On Saturday, September 8, 2012 Eleanor passed away at Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 66 years, after a long battle with cancer. Eleanor was born in Poplar Park, MB on February 10, 1946. She lived a full and beautiful life. Eleanor worked and had the opportunity to meet many people that would become long-time friends. She started her own engraving business in 1972 which led her to various other jobs. She was known for her love of gardening, cooking for others and spending time with her daughter and two grandsons. She was predeceased by her parents Bill and Mary Semeniuk, and brother Freddy Semeniuk. She is survived by her daughter Judy (Gerlang) Carter and two grandsons, Zane and Max Carter, brother Lloyd (Anita) Semeniuk, sister Margery Wowchuk, and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. We would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences Centre and Palliative Care Program. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 14, 2012 at Wheeler Funeral Home, Cemetery Crematorium, 1800 Day Street.
