Our lives go on without you, But nothing is the same, In the silence of our minds, Where no one else can see, Your voice, your smile, your memories, Are all kept so tenderly, We are thankful for those precious years we had you here with us. His life was unselfish, For others he lived, not to receive, but to always give, With a loving heart and a willing hand, For us he gave his all, Treasure him God, In your garden of rest, For in our world he was the very best.
