Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE FILIPCHUK (nee WLASICHUK) It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Katherine, at the age of 89 years. Mom passed away peacefully, with her daughter by her side, on September 13, 2012. Left to cherish her memory are, her son, Don (Pat); her daughter, Deborah; her grandsons Shawn, Jonathan and Christopher and her great-grandson, Lucas. Also surviving are her sisters-in-law, Tina Wlasichuk, Marie Wlasichuk, Vicki Wlasichuk, one brother-in-law Nick Hildebrand, and many nieces and nephews. Katherine was predeceased by her parents, Metro and Dora Wlasichuk and all her siblings: brothers George, Stan, Bill, Nick and Sam, who passed away at age four; sisters Ann, Marie, Rose and Vicki. The family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers at Holy Family Personal Care Home, in particular, Diana and Miriam. Katherine's service will be held on Saturday, September 22 at 2:30 p.m. at Evangel Chapel, 1073 St. Mary's Road. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Katherine's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
