MARGARET GRACE KUI (nee CHARTRAND) November 24, 1930 - September 10, 2012 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Margaret Grace Kui, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, on Monday, September 10, 2012 at the age of 81 years. Mom (Peep Peek) will be greatly missed and remembered by her husband of 41 years, Joseph J. Kui as well as her sons Larry Bird, Stephen Kui (Janice), James Bird (Joanne) and her daughter Linda Bird; granddaughters Michelle, Stephanie, Shyan of Winnipeg and Michelle Gowan of British Columbia; great-grandchildren Dylan, Katelynn, Emily and Winter, along with her nieces, nephews, friends, and especially her beloved cat Dennis. Born in St. Laurent, Margaret was predeceased by her son Thomas, daughter Darlene and former husband Thomas E. Bird, as well as her parents and all her siblings. The family would like to thank Dr. Sawatsky and the staff at Concordia Hospital for their care and compassion during this difficult time. Funeral services will take place at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church in St. Laurent, Manitoba, on Friday, September 21 at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow in the Notre Dame Cemetery in Oak Point, MB.
